About Amiyah’s Kitchen

I started this blog because I have a passion for food, cooking & entertaining. Over time, I realized that I had an even deeper passion, which was to take my love of cooking & turn it into something more meaningful & true to my heart. The result is Amiyah’s Kitchen! Amiyah’s Kitchen is a non profit organization which started in 2023. Our mission is to provide delicious home cooked meals to those in need within our local community in the Pacific Northwest. Food is a universal joy that ties us all together, but it is also a basic human necessity & my personal mission is to feed as many people as I can in my lifetime! Why the name? Amiyah was our daughter who we lost in 2014. It felt right to name this work after her because what we do is all about love. Food nourishes our bodies & brings people together for holidays, celebrations & Sunday dinners… I love cooking for friends & family and I wanted to create this space to share some of the recipes that my family has enjoyed for years. Some are traditional, some are unique & some have been passed down from family generations. I use cooking to stretch my creativity. I love trying new recipes & creating delicious flavors using fresh ingredients! From decadent meals & rich desserts to healthy & vibrant dishes, please join me on this journey of cooking for your soul. Thank you for visiting & I hope you find recipes that will bring your loved ones to the table for years to come. All of my recipes can be found under the menu icon above 👆 I hope you will visit us on Facebook @ Amiyah’s Kitchen! Just by following us you are helping to support us on our mission to fight hunger!
